All animal and human thought processes are nothing more than electrical impulses and stimulation within the brain. Brains control the body via the nervous system. The brain sends electrical impulses along the nervous system, which in turn stimulate particular areas of the body for a specific effect, such as the contracting or relaxing of muscles.
Now, assume that a brain can affect something directly without first having to go through the rest of the nervous system. Why should this not be? Could it not be possible that a brain can send an electrical impulse through the air as it would through the nervous system. Remember, everything is made of electrons, protons and neutrons - even air.

Psionics
Psionics -
This is the basis of Psionics, the ability to effect a change within physical reality without direct physical contact in the traditional sense. Psions or psychics can directly affect their surrounding physical environment or even the thoughts of others by simple manipulation of the electrical energies and charges of any intervening molecules and atoms. This ability is used by Humans and only Humans, the only way to obtain these abilities is through the battle arena as a prize.
Telepathy -
Telepathy is the first and foremost Psionic. It is relatively common amongst any one with any Psionic abilities. Telepathy allows the wielder to read another's mind, to create mind numbing bolts or wipe minds of everything. It also allows the wielder to travel the Astral Plane in a form of their choosing. It also allows one to send mental messages towards another.
Clairvoyance -
The ability to see without eyes.
Mentatis -
The ability to heal psychological derangements.
Astral Projection -
The ability to send your essence out of your physical body and into the Astral Plane.
Psychometabolism -
A rare ability where the Psionic can alter and control the wielder's own body (to harden skin, strengthen bones, increase adrenaline flow, etc.).
Telekinesis -
Telekinesis, or TK as it is known, is the ability to move an object with one's mind.
Pyrokinesis -
The ability to manipulate fire.
Cryokinesis -
The ability to manipulate the temperature.
Chronokinesis -
The ability to slow down or maybe speed up one's perception of time.
Hydrokinesis -
Control over water in all its forms.
Magnokinesis -
The ability to control magnetic fields.
Electrokinesis -
Manipulation of electric fields, such as lightening.
The Sixth Sense -
Picking up vibrations from magic waves sent out, the caster can sense hidden persons and objects in the area. This ability cannot be used at the same time as any other ability and must be fully concentrated on or else is lost.
Astral Implantation -
The ability to implant a thought into the mind of a Demon or Wizard. This thought can influence their actions and even cause someone to do your own bidding. It is ineffective against Humans and anyone with an extreme amount of will may be able to fight against it and figure out that it is not their own thought. (More commonly used against NPC’s unless permission given by other characters controller FIRST.)
Psycometamorphisis –
Similar to Psychometabolism, this is the ability to change parts of your body to resemble that of an animal. This may include gills, fur, scales, venom, paws, ears, tails, claws and many other features of animals. The more powerful the person, the more animal like they can make themselves. Once a change is made it CANNOT be undone under any circumstance so this power is rarely used.
Psycokinesis -
The ability to manipulate things that you can’t see with your mind. This is not the same as telekinesis, this only works with things that you cannot see when your eyes are open, such as things hidden by a sealed room or a box that can’t be opened or the mechanics inside technology. This power cannot be used at the same time as another for it must be concentrated on fully.
Terrakinesis -
The ability to control earth to the point of being able to raise mounds of rock or throw chunks of rock at an enemy. This is not very powerful and it is ineffective if you are not actually on the ground.
Psychic Vision -
The ability to get premonitions of the past and the future by touching certain objects and certain people. The more powerful the premonition the more dangerous it is and the strongest premonitions can physically wound you.
Empathy -
The ability to literally sense other people’s emotions when needed. An inexperienced empath can literally kill themselves through lost control of their other powers or just exploding because they are not able to deal with the pain that they can feel. The strongest empaths can sense things across cities. The stronger the power the more dangerous.
Ampathy -
The ability to temporarily remove your feeling for the time of five of your own posts. When this is used all your emotions are removed and you may do things that you regret later. You could even kill your best friend without knowing. Because of this, this power is very rarely used.
Speech of the Beasts -
The ability to understand animals when they talk in their own language and to speak to them in return with their own language. This is a hard power to control because when animals use body motions like tail moments and ear positions to communicate each person has to come up with a substitute for this that the animal will actually understand.
Frozen Momentum -
The ability to ‘freeze’ certain items or people when they are moving. This is simply a slowing of the molecules to a microscopic level and this power is channelled through the hands. The affected area, person, item or creature is only frozen for the time span of three of your own posts.
Power Block -
The ability to create a magnetic field about one mile (1.6 kilometres) in diameter that blocks the use of all and any powers. NO abilities of anybody (including yourself) may be used once this power is activated and any magical concealments and talismans or amulets are neutralized. Be warned: if caught using this power you may well be ambushed or attacked, people don’t take kindly to having their abilities blocked. This magnetic field lasts for ten posts and CANNOT be placed if you simply only have a power over magnetic fields.
Techno Magnesis -
The ability to place a magnetic field about one mile (1.6 kilometres) in diameter that shuts down all technology no matter how simple or complex. This appears simply to be a blackout or power failure if placed carefully. This lasts for ten posts and CANNOT be placed if you simply only have a power over magnetic fields.
Volcanic Momentum -
The ability to make certain objects and very weak people (NPC’s ONLY) explode by simply speeding up their molecules to a level that causes them to be destroyed. The explosions caused by this are very weak and most people cannot be effected unless extremely, extremely weak. The power is channelled through the hands and when the item explodes a small burst of fire or sparks may become visible for a second or two.
