x.The Rules.x
1.Be respectful of other members of the forum. Anyone who bad mouths another on this forum in any form of communication will be issued warnings and, if it continues, it will end in possible deletion.
2. No god-moding (admin will delete any post that they consider to be breaching this rule).
3. No crude language, some limited and fair use will be accepted, but please keep this rule in mind.
4. No spamming, don't double post or advertise in the cbox. We have an area to advertise so do it there.
5. Please, no perfect characters, every person has their flaws, it's what makes us unique.
6. No chat talk.
7. No one liners please, keep the story moving. If you can't think of more things to say then start to describe what is going on around you and your surroundings.
8. One character to any one account, this is because we have a points system on here for attacks and defence ect.
9. When you sign up and create a character please don't leave it unfinished for weeks, a week at most before it will be moved. If you want it back then you can pm the admin and ask but only do so if you know you will finsih the profile within that week.
10. Have FUN!!!!!
x.In Depth.x
Rule 1: We understand that not everyone can get along with each other and that we will have people who wont like others, but this doesn't mean that we can't at least be civil. If you don't like someone on here then don't speak with them or what we would prefer is if you could at least be civil. No arguing in the c-box, this is a BIG no no, and please no hateful pms either. If you are having trouble with any of the members then tell a staff member and they will help you to sort it out.
Rule 2. What is God- moding? Ok this is simple enough what god- moding is, is when your character is immune to all attacks, its where you don't even let your character get hurt even when if the situation were played in real life they would be. God-moding is also when your character controls another characters actions without given them the chance to come back to what you said happened. the only time this is ever allowed in when the other character has given consent. If you are still confused about this rule just pm one of the staff and they will help you out with it.
Rule 3. Ok we are a literate rp site and are rated for pg+13 so we allow for mature content thus some crude language is allowed to be used in posts with characters. However under no circumstance is it to be used in Out of Character boards. Some words will not be allowed however but they will be blocked anyway.
Rule 4. Simple enough rule, just don't advertise where you shouldn't and don't double post to get someones attention. If you find that no one has replied to your thread(s) then ask around in the cbox for people to post with, if this does not suffice then pm a stuff member and we will bump them for you.
Rule 5. No Mary Sues or Gary Sues, in other words no perfect characters. How to tell if you have one of these type of characters? Well you have no flaws, your so beautiful that all the guys/girls have to stop and look at you. your 13 and a powerful wizard who has master all magic known to mankind. Basically your character is perfect! These types of character are boring and dull, they don't have any depth to them so please avoid them. What make an interesting character is if they have flaw, funny little quirks that make them different from everyone else, these are the characters that people love to rp with so keep that in mind.
Rule 6. Simple enough, this is a literate site so keep it that way. In the cbox I will allow short hand but in the boards everything must be literate and well prepared.
Rule 7. How to keep you posts to a healthy length? One thing about literate sites is that we love our long posts so when we see one liners in them we tend to fume a little, but no fear for I'm going to explain to you how you can avoid one liners. OK there are a few things you can do to make your posts 'healthy' they are as follows:
* describe your surroundings, its a big world out there and plenty to see sh tell us, what do you see?
* thoughts and feelings, we aren't mind readers as much as it could come in handy. So tell us what your thinking and feeling, how is that character or the situation you are in making you feel? what is it making you think?
* add a drama, bring in a NPC and start some plot twist, like someone has come and just attacked you both, it could be anything (within reason)
* use your imagination, trust me its there in ALL of us
Rule 8. Just one character per account please. This is because we have a points system on here that will help you not to power play. I will explain it in another section but in short it is your fighting rank and power in battles.
They are simple rules to follow to make this forum run smoothly and fairly. By following the rules, it will enable everyone to enjoy being on this forum.
Thanks,
Mia Grey.
