I found this forum through a thread on EE and I think it is pretty cool but a little different. I’m an eighteen year old female and I enjoy a good conversation from time to time. Hanging out with me is unique but remember I’m a wizard so we may not get along. Appearance: Well, I don't like to really boast but if I must describe myself I look like this: I have black hair and pallor white skin. My red eyes seem to offset people all the time but I don’t really care most of the time. I’ve been told that I have a warm smile though I wouldn’t know, I’ve never seen myself smile.
I like putting my hair up in pigtails with fun ribbons. I’m told that I usually red but I wouldn’t know. I just wear a comfortable jacket with a skirt and long socks. My face is round and it feels very smooth. I know I don’t have a lot on my frame but most smells don’t catch my attention very well and so I don’t eat a lot.||Personality: I can't say I get along with everyone and I can't say I'm perfect but I am who I am and this is me. : I am blind but it doesn’t bother me because I can still make out your shape. Just please, please, don’t remind me that I’m blind. Nothing is wrong with it and if you say something is wrong with me, I will make you regret it. This is my little secret and if you discover it and spread it, I will be devastated.||
I do enjoy volunteering at the homeless shelter and the soup kitchen. There are so many nice people there who accept me for exactly who I am. I also love books. Just ask me what I’m reading and you won’t get me to shut up until I turn back to the book. I guess that should also serve as a warning. Just remember that wizards when agitated, turn ugly and will repay any hardships with some uncomfortable malady.

History:
Maya was born blind and grew up blind for most of her life. When she was in grade school she was given an amulet by her parents which they put on her charm bracelet that had all the charms that they had brought home from their travels.As Maya entered middle school she began to realize how much the amulet helped her vision. It made objects easier to sense despite the fact that her eyes couldn't perceive it. Maya was fascinated by this phenomenon and dedicated so much time to trying to find out that the high school exhausted of her enthusiasm and graduated her early. Maya is now trying to find answers outside of the text book that could explain the phenomenon but in the mean time she just knows that she can control some things in her world.
