Black Death
Noir Shiya
Part I
Noir Shiya
Part I
The night was as dark as death itself, void of any moon or stars yet perfect for less desirable creatures to roam free of anyone’s sight. The air was thick with the smell of blood, the scent entwining itself amongst the clean air tainting it the very colour of its killer. A killer with no heart and no soul, with eyes that could even make death envious of there blackness; no mere mortal could face such a creature even though there are those who have tried.
Dark clouds pass over head as the killer stands atop a building in a city devoid of hope, an easy target of people roam the streets below, all to easy to even consider however, once in a while one will stick it attention. It’s dark gaze will follow you, stork you to the point that you feel you have to look behind you ever second, every step. Sadistic and evil, the killer will ware you down letting paranoia do most of its work, enjoying watching you scream when an alley cat patters past you. Be careful dears for this killer will lure you to its net, it will tangle you in its web and soon you’ll find that even screaming wont help you.
‘BANG!!’
You feel your body slip to the ground but your dead before you even hit it. There is blood all around you as a shadow looms above your dead body, long dark hair whipping about its face so even if you lasted long enough to see it you would never be able to make out who it was. Forever it will haunt you in death, your life was never complete yet this creature saw fit to take it away, how lucky you were…
Smoke emits for the barrel of the German made Walther P-99, your blood is splatter all over it and over the hands of your killer. It smirks down at you with a look of pure pleasure and ecstasy, a crazed and wild look in its eyes as if the whole situation of blowing your head off was a feel of lustful pleasures. Slowly the wind dies down around it, it wild hair no longer viscously whipping about its face and soon you see it, rather you feel its intensity. It black eyes bore into your own and soon you find yourself swirling in its darkness, your head spins more when it finally all comes into view, that face, its face…its you!
Noir woke with a start, her nightmare finally coming to a very frighten end that it made her sit upright when she woke. Breathing heavy she turned to the clock. 4:30am, sinking back down onto her pillow and resting her hand on her forehead she couldn’t get that nightmare out of her head, flashes of it play through her mind every time she closed her eyes and soon she found that sleep was not going to be possible. The whole think felt so real which made Noir more wary about it, she knew that face, though sinister in comparison it was ‘her’ face and every thing that happened in that dream felt so real like she had just been there, just done that, just killed a man.
Throwing off her sheets she swung her legs over the side of the bed and sat up resting her elbows on her knees and her head in her hands. Still flashes as vivid as if she had been there only moments ago past through her mind and each time she felt that it was more and more true. Finally standing she made her way to her bathroom that opened to her bedroom, she rested her hand on the sink to support her then she used the other to turn the tap on, splashing water on her face. She looked up at the mirror to make sure that she was still herself; that it was still her brown eyes staring back at her. Sighing in relief of what the mirror revealed she place her other hand on the other side of the bench but that’s not what her hand found. Looking slowly down at her right hand she saw that her hand was now resting on the Walther P-99, the very one from her dream. Her fingers began to link into the grip and slowly she lifted the gun and stretched her arm out, she did not turn but she aimed the gun behind her as her head lifted and as her hair parted from her eyes she saw that face from her dreams, the one with eyes blacker that deaths.
No words were exchanged only the click of the gun as she ready it to be fired, it was the only warning this now creature was giving her intruder. The intruder too only gave this warning, but instead of silence to follow it and sound of a bullet leaving the barrel filled the room. Dropping low only barely missing the bullet Noir turned on her heel, rushing out of the bathroom and purposely knocking the her attacker onto the bed. She whizzed past them, bending slightly as she picked up a second gun that was lying on her floor. Aiming one back at her assailant and one at her window in front of her she pulled both triggers, no ounce of hesitation as she fired blindly at the attacker and no moment to reconsider as he shot the window she could burst out of it. Broken glass now shattered around her as she spun her arm back around to fire at the assailant, falling back first out of the three-storey apartment. Falling like that for a moment to see if they followed she flipped just before she hit the ground, landing neatly in a squatting position. The force her hitting it so hard sent the concrete under her to crack, causing it to spider web in a circle around her. She smiled at this sudden surge of strength and agility, it surprised her that she found she quite enjoyed the new ‘her’. She looked back up at her apartment window where she saw the figure of a man staring back down at her, glass was still falling and in the street light it looked like glass snow, shimmering as it tinkled when it hit the ground. Turning her head away from the scene Noir pushed herself off her feet and began to run, run into the dark abbess of the moonless night, where creatures like her like to come out to play.
This was it, this was her, Noir Shiya, Black Death, hunted by the people of the Saberia Corporation and feared be the citizens of Fatal.
