Michael had been busying himself in the library for a few days now. Mainly due to a lack of anything to do. He was drawn to Haven; there was something about the place. He could feel the beginnings of a great event, something that has not happened since the last time the races clashed nigh a hundred years ago. He had spent a few days getting aquatinted to the area, a lot had change since he was last here. For one thing people weren’t use to his kind. Although they didn’t know it Michael could see the stare that his white blind fold was attracting. How soon would there reformed belief that they where alone would be shattered. Michael placed him self back a desk he had occupied and began reading a book on the recent history of the city, mentally pointing out many glaring omissions.

Virginie saw the man in the white blind fold and giggled slightly. Virginie was positive that the man could see what was going on. She sauntered up to the man in the blindfold and whispered in his ear, "Nice trick! How many people do you think suspect that you can see them?" Pulling up a seat, Virginie waited patiently for the man's response.

“Well that all depends on what you mean by see.” Michael replied with a smile. The aura of a young lovely female placed herself next to him. “And for how many know, well that depends on which races have ignorantly placed there heads in the sands.” He paused for a moment. “Although your kind have benefited from it.” Beings from different races show distinct auras. “So for what do I owe the pleasure, most have kept them selves away from me.” He looked up. A ring of desk around him where empty, happily it did allow him to spread his books around.

Virginie sat herself back quietly in a more comfortable position and simply replied, "I was looking for someone here but then your ability interested me. I mean how often does a girl meet a wizard who is just playing with the people around them. So why are you blindfolded?" Virginie began looking around at the other men taking into account their ring fingers. She was having a slow week so she thought she might give one man a night he would never forget, just why did they all have to lack the rings, that made them less fun.

"Playing." Michael replied indignantly. "I am here to study. The university is open to all and the have the only library in town." He looked at people around him, now that he had an attractive companion next to him many of the males where not as eager to annoy him. “If I wish to play I would be matching wits with the doctors and scholars currently busy researching.” She had asked about the blindfold, many people where not as bold to be so forthright, the change was refreshing, he decided to answer. “The blindfold, it is because I have no eyes.” Michael always liked to see people’s response to that statement. “But I forgot my manners. I must introduce myself. I am Michael Koda and you are?”

Virginie smiled at Michael before she said, "I'm Virginie. And unless you have a concave spine, red skin, fanged teeth, and no eyes, you can't really scare me. I'm way too used to all species." Virginie smiled as she looked back at the men who had been wandering around.
